The Innocence Initiative Wins! 

The first-ever Impact Austin Social Innovation Grant will support "The Innocence Initiative," a multifaceted approach to identify and eliminate disparities that perpetuate the adultification of Black girls through advocacy, training, and public awareness.
The $110,000 award goes to the collaborative of MEASURE Austin, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Hearts2Heal, Lone Star Justice Alliance, and Community Advocacy and Healing Project.

PHILANTHROPITCH AUSTIN

Lone Star Justice Alliance presented at this year's Philanthropitch event! Philanthropitch is the social impact fast pitch competition for nonprofits looking to maximize their impact. Philanthropitch gave away over $110,000 and LSJA was awarded $39,525!

This event took place on May 7, 2019 at the LBJ Auditorium.

AUSTIN UNDER 40 AWARDS GALA

We are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Elizabeth Henneke, was selected as a finalist in the legal category and won at the 21st annual Austin under 40 Awards Gala! This black tie event celebrated emerging Austinites and donated all proceeds to the Young Women's Alliance Foundation and the Austin Sunshine Camps.
