Brianna Williams comes to us with has an energetic passion for working with communities. Brianna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington.
Upon graduation, her passion for working with people inspired her to become a youth advocate and community advocate and facilitator. Throughout her years working in the non-profit sector, Brianna has worked with a wide range of audiences varying from ages 5 to 75. Her experience working with diverse populations has prepared her role at Lone Star Justice Alliance. Brianna’s Ms. Williams’ case management background includes working with adoptive families, trauma survivors and young adults from under served communities throughout the state of Texas. Her work with young adults has included working with individuals young adults who that have experienced disruptions in housing, mental health crises, domestic violence and/or whose lives were impacted by the criminal justice system. Additionally, Brianna’s Ms. Williams’ case management experience includes helping TBRI trained families adopt children from DFPS custody that have experienced trauma. In addition to being beyond her career in social worker, Brianna Ms. Williams is a speaker and facilitator. Thus far, she has delivered her refreshing style of motivational speaking to audiences in the U.K., East Africa, Canada and across the United States. Always on the go, the self-proclaimed “go outside queen” launched an outdoor initiative entitled Curvy by Nature, an outdoor initiative a project geared towards diversifying the connecting people to outdoor experiences. |
