Dr. Caitlin Bailey, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and directs the Emergency Medicine Clinical Course. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University with a B.A in Psychology. After working as a laboratory technician scientist at the Whitehead Institute at M.I.T., she matriculated at Harvard Medical School. Caitlin completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California, where she also completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound. She is currently the Medical Student Clerkship Director and Assistant Residency Program Director at Highland, a safety net hospital for Oakland and Alameda County. She works extensively with underserved populations, including low-income, incarcerated, undocumented and refugee patients.
