Humberto is a senior honors student at New York University majoring in International Relations and Journalism. Born and raised in South Dallas, Humberto has had the opportunity to study for two semesters in London and one semester in Madrid, and his experiences living abroad and researching different political systems around the globe have influenced his views on what policy outcomes can look like at home. In the past, Humberto has worked as a Legislative Aide in the Texas House of Representatives, and as an intern at LSJA, he has been working with staff on the organization's legislative efforts. When he's not studying or working, Humberto can usually be found reading a book or bicycle racing (and crashing).
