Lone Star Justice Alliance is a nonprofit whose mission is to redirect youth and emerging adults out of the Texas justice system and into community-based treatment programs, thus increasing public safety and saving taxpayer dollars. We recognize the inherent shortcomings of a criminal justice system that is focused on punishment rather than rehabilitation, particularly regarding youth and emerging adults, and we work to provide solutions to those shortcomings.
