Desto Huerta is in their final year of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. They are actively involved in student organizing, community outreach and development, and advocating for progressive legislation. Desto plans to pursue further education, obtaining two graduate degrees: Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) and the Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW).
